Kelvin Robinson
Kelvin Robinson was previously running for Council At Large.
From Kelvin Robinson's official online bio:
As a life-long public servant and private businessman, I have been dedicated to serving our community by ensuring that issues that impact our quality of life (education, job creation, public safety, and responsible government) are swiftly and sensibly attended to by the relevant agencies of our government...
I have had the honor to serve as Chief of Staff to D.C. Mayor Anthony A. Williams, and I am proud of the work that we did together to bring about the renaissance that we are currently enjoying in our city. Whether securing record level federal funding for District projects, bringing District residents together in city-wide and neighborhood summits, working to advance the District’s quest for full voting rights, budget and legislative authority, to ensuring that city services were responsive to our residents by instituting the City-Wide Call Center, initiating efforts to reduce crime and vacant properties, and overseeing the clean city project that coordinated street cleaning, trash pick-up, road and alleyway improvements, our efforts were directed at changing and maintaining the quality of life for those who call the District home.
