Tracy D. Turner

From Tracy Turner's official campaign bio:

Tracey is passionate about public safety as he is a proud homeowner. As a board member for the North Capital Collaborative he fought to prevent child abuse and neglect for local youth. Tracey also engages youth by organizing street clean-up teams to help improve the quality and beauty of his neighborhood and parks. He is a real estate investor and has first hand knowledge and experience in providing quality public housing but also economic development, and he works in partnership with his neighbors to find solutions to their issues. Tracey also spends his time volunteering at the VA hospital visiting retired and elderly military personnel, and by volunteering at local schools teaching computer literacy and mathematics...

Tracey D. Turner earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Southern University. He has over a decade of experience as an IT professional in project and fiscal management for major fortune 500 consulting firms as well as the Department of Homeland Security, The Discovery Channel, CareFirst, and IBM. One of his most memorable moments was the impact he made in Ward 5 during the national election in 2008 when he organized and registered over 200 democratic voters within his community.
